Valimai Review
Why are films like these made even today? Valimai, who plays Ajith Kumar, is as historic as you would like it to be. It wasn’t boring, because at least there was something going on on the screen, but whatever it was, it didn’t add anything significant to the genre that was limited to this raging film industry.
The worst case of this movie is its horrible villain, and the horror development of his character. "A bad man who is ripped off enough to look like a model of underwear" has no depth or size. And everything related to his character, too, was worth it. From every gimmick of Satan's Slaves, to his rotten Tumblr "edgy" philosophies and his motives for taking whatever he wants that pleases him. Take writing classes before you write on the screen, Jesus Christ.
All in all, it wasn't a horrible movie but it didn't even come close to being average. It is sad to see Ajith Kumar lose his reputation as an actor because of his IQ movie choices, one film at a time.
