 '83 Review

Often, sports films focus on a thrilling story that revolves around real sports to make the story more interesting. When it comes to Bollywood there will be more theater and more nationality added to it for commercial entertainment. But what 83 is doing, it made the film go around a real sports event and made everything around it full of comedy content and a few other marketing features. This is both good and bad for this film at the same time.

The film is made in such a way that anyone unfamiliar with cricket will not enjoy the movie at all. In addition, the content of the fill between the highlights of the game is more than the usual excess, which can easily distract the aforementioned audience.

But for people who grew up playing cricket, especially those who watched live cricket in 1983 and who grew up listening to that story, this will be a very exciting clock. From imitating each member of the team, they did an excellent job. Whenever they go from a game to a TV screen showing the same thing that happened in 1983, mimicking and paying attention to detail in making each shot perfect makes it a smooth transition where you don't see a change between the players and real life. players.

Simulation, cricket games, each ball and shooting, behavior and personality of each team member were all taken seriously. In addition, the little cameos were real players, the inclusion of some so-called easter eggs all made it great.

This is a very flawed film based on docu-fiction rather than just biopic history. So those who expect more may be disappointed.
