 Chhorii Review

I am writing this review as an audience that has not yet watched the actual.

In the middle of the film you will notice, the plot is nothing new. It addresses a sensitive social issue that affects women in rural and even urban areas to this day. However the way the film goes it makes sure that you are still investing in the film even though you know what is coming.

The setting of this film is amazing, a house in the middle of tall grass, a perfect setting for a spectacular film. But to be honest, there are only a few jumpscares because of the loud jumpscare music that helps. Once, the background story begins to irritate, the fear disappears completely. However, the way the background story is presented is something I really liked. That is what came to be planted even after knowing what was coming.

The final revelations of the climax are shocking. However, the treatment is not high. You feel that effect is lost because the final revelations are shown as montage and not a complete sequence. If they had shown the full sequence, the effect would have been so severe and emotionally painful that the emotions were small, if not entirely present. Promotion as a horrible thing, there is not much of it.

Nushrat bharucha so far can not convince me that he is 35+. He looks very young in films and here, his role is some kind of challenge and he has done a good job. Mita vashishth is a criminal, from his speech to his way of speaking impressed me. Resting they were all fine too.

All in all, a movie that you can watch is definitely not abusive or something like that. Watch it about the problem that is being discussed in the film, watch it to be played, do not expect the most shocking or traumatic events and yes, the director could have handled the climax much better.
